Xena Elvey

I'm Xena, A current Illustration student at UWE! I am a multidisciplinary illustrator based in Bristol. I work across a variety of mediums and techniques - I especially enjoy working with traditional mediums such as ink and dip pen and exploring printing techniques in print studios. For this, I gravitate towards the Victorian era for inspiration especially when using inks for black/white illustrations.I do have my fun with digital mediums, experimenting with typography, exploring how words and meaning can be transformed through different visual perspectives.
