Little Paisley Designs

Hi, I’m Eleanor, an Illustrator and designer in my 30’s, working in Bristol. I work from my home studio in my colourful plant filled flat, helped by my rescue cat Ziggy and fuelled by cups of tea. I started Little Paisley Designs in late 2014 after graduating with a degree in printed textiles, and it’s been my full time job for the 10+ years since. Little Paisley Designs creates colourful, playful, nature-inspired illustrative goods from watercolour illustrations of British Flora & Fauna. Everything I sell starts life as a hand-painted watercolour illustration, I then scan them in, and digitally translate these into intricate enamel pins, embroidered patches, temporary tattoos, stationery, playing cards, art prints and more! I’m inspired by vintage observer guide books of British nature, the magical world of mushrooms, and the great outdoors. I try to create a modern brand through the use of a poppy colour palette, modern branding with a nod to the traditional in the subject of my illustrations.
