FAQs

A traditional vending machine repurposed into a shop-in-a-box that dispenses artwork, gifts and curiosities curated by SUPA.

SUPA exists to widen the doorway. We prioritise underrepresented artists - neurodivergent and disabled creators, LGBTQ+ people, artists from global majority backgrounds, working-class makers, carers, parents, and anyone who’s been told they don’t fit the “gallery” mould or is new to retail.

How we are inclusive:

  1. Lower the bar to entry. Small, durable formats; clear briefs; rolling open calls.

  2. Pay fairly, explain simply. Wholesale or revenue-share with transparent terms and timelines.

  3. Design for different brains. Short forms, straightforward emails, bright-not-chaotic displays, step-free access.

  4. Offer practical help. Packaging and pricing guidance, ND-friendly checklists, honest feedback.

  5. Protect the space. Zero harassment. We’ll step in if harm occurs.

We’re not perfect, but we’re accountable. If we miss something, tell us - we’ll fix it.

Absolutely! We’d love for you to do that. Wherever you are on your journey, we’d love to hear from you. Just fill in the form on this page.

Short answer is, it varies. Each machine behaves, and sells, differently depending on the location. Every machine has a wide audience so we try to cater for all tastes. We love creative, quirky and fresh concepts!

The best bit! If your art is in the vending machine at a NEW LOCATION, we will be holding small launch parties that you will be invited too. OR, if we have loaded new work as slots have opened, then we’ll snap a pic of your pieces looking fab in the coils. We’ll email you the location details, tag you on socials, and pop a post on @supa.dopaminedeli We love a bit of cross-promo- share the story and we’ll cheer you on!

Supamatic Vending machines work best with small, durable, pocket-sized items that can vend reliably.

Exact size, weight, and packaging requirements vary by machine and product type. We’ll share a clear packaging and sizing guide once you apply or when we request a sample, so you’re not guessing.

If you’re unsure whether something will fit, just ask — we’re happy to advise before you make anything.

We work in two ways:

Option 1: Wholesale
You set your wholesale price and retail price (retail should be at least 2× wholesale).
If your sample is approved, we place an order and pay you upfront before your product goes into the machine.
You get paid straight away and carry no sales risk.

Option 2: Consignment
We stock your product in our machines.
You receive 50% of the retail price.
You are paid after your items sell.

We’ll choose the best option based on your product.

Typically monthly, with faster cycles for high‑traffic sites. We monitor every machine remotely, and we'll send a refill request if stock is running low and you still have time left for your slot.
